Juliet Taylor was born in Newcastle, Australia in 1977.
Discovering her passion at a early age, she turned her back on conventional art school training, choosing instead to forge her own way in the world of commercial photography.
She has been trained by unconventional creative industry leaders, working on many international campaigns around the world.
Juliet's thoughtful and imaginative approach to her craft has resulted in a string of national and international awards winning the Australian creative Hot shop awards for Best Photographer in 2007, also being featured in numerous worldwide publications such as the Luerzer's archive top 200 photographers.
She has worked with international agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney & Paris, DDB New Zealand, Whybin TBWA, Badjar Ogilvy, BWM with clients such as NISSAN, FOX SPORTS, TELSTRA BIGPOND, FORD, FOSTERS, TONI & GUY to name a few.
Her passion is for shooting 'ideas' - experimenting and innovating - finding new ways to communicate a brief.
Deriving inspiration from iconic artists Magritte and Man Ray, Juliet employs the latest in digital technology for both the shooting and post-production processes.
Her maxim? "A photographer's most powerful tool is the mind - without a vision you may as well just be a photocopier."
